The release of Marvel’s Endgame in 2019 formally concluded the first phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, termed the Infinity Saga, and brought an end to some of the world’s mightiest heroes. The MCU didn’t end with Endgame. Since Endgame hit theaters, Marvel has released 18 movies, shows, and special projects that have become fan favorites in the past decade of 20 or more blockbusters. Thus, the question arises: Will there be another Avengers film? When is the next Avengers movie coming out?

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 :
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is James Gunn’s final Marvel Studios project. May 5, 2023 is the release date for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
Spider-Man:
As the sequel to Spider-Man 2018, Across the Spider-Verse drops on June 2, 2023.
The Marvels:
Released on November 10, 2023 instead of July 20, 2022, The Marvels was originally scheduled for July 2022.
Captain America:
The New World Order marks Anthony Mackie’s formal debut as Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. A release date of May 3, 2024 has been set.
Thunderbolts:
The launch date for this project is scheduled for July 26, 2024. A group of villains and antiheroes band together to carry out government missions. It reminds me of the Suicide Squad.
Blade:
Initially scheduled for release in 2023, but due to production delays and unforeseen circumstances, the film will not be released until September 6, 2024.
Deadpool 3 :
This film will be the first in Phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is scheduled for release on November 8, 2024.
Fantastic 4 :
The Fantastic Four film will be released on February 14, 2025 as part of Phase 6.
Avengers : The Kang Dynasty
Jonathan Major’s character will play a key role in the next “Avengers” film, due for release in summer 2025.
Avengers : Secret Wars
As of yet, there are no confirmed details regarding the cast, director, or story, but it is anticipated that several superheroes from the MCU and other franchises will make an appearance when Avengers : Secret Wars hits theaters on May 1, 2026.
Venom 3:
Currently, no release date has been announced for Venom 3, but development has begun.
Armor Wars :
It has been confirmed that Marvel Studios is reworking Armor Wars into a full-length film, as it is currently planned.
Final Thoughts
At San Diego Comic-Con 2022, Marvel revealed Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars, but these stories have been brewing for years. It has always been the intention of Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige to attend San Diego Comic-Con only when he is ready to “overdeliver” This was certainly true for 2022, when Marvel announced their entire Phase 5 slate prior to confirming their two films that conclude the “Multiverse Saga.” At the end of Phase 6, Marvel Studios will release Avengers: Kang Dynasty and Avengers Secret Wars.
